为丰富嘉兴·蔬彩园对外宣传形象,提升嘉兴·蔬彩园知名度与影响力,现由嘉兴经济技术开发区园林市政建设有限公司携手Young Bird Plan国际竞赛平台共同主办2022嘉兴·蔬彩园蔬菜卡通动漫形象设计大赛,竞赛面向全球设计领域专业人士及爱好者,旨在运用蔬菜形象,结合设计巧思,打造嘉兴·蔬彩园特色卡通动漫形象,让蔬菜形象鲜明活泼,从而展现嘉兴·蔬彩园的精神面貌与特色。

In order to enrich the publicity of Jiaxing Rainbow Vegetable Garden’s image as well as to raise Jiaxing Rainbow Vegetable Garden’s popularity and influence, 2022 Jiaxing Rainbow Vegetable Garden Cartoon Vegetables Characters Design Competition is held by Jiaxing Economic & Technological Development Zone Garden Municipal Construction Co., Ltd. and Young Bird Plan, the international design competition platform. The Competition, open to all of the professionals and amateurs in the global design field, aims at combining the image of vegetables with inspirational design thinking to create the unique cartoon character image for Jiaxing Rainbow Vegetable Garden. It will present Jiaxing Rainbow Vegetable Garden’s characteristics and spirit through the vivid vegetable image.

嘉兴·蔬彩园是首个上规模的多品种蔬菜观赏园,整合了风景园林、蔬菜学和土壤学等多个学科领域。项目总用地553亩,东至沪杭铁路,西至长水塘,南至三环南路,北至槜李路,是由嘉兴经济技术开发区园林市政建设有限公司组织施工建造的,现在处于有机更新阶段,预计4月中上旬开园。

Jiaxing Rainbow Vegetable Garden is the first large scale national sightseeing garden with various types of vegetables. It integrates multiple fields such as landscape architecture, vegetable science, soil science, etc. It is located in Jiaxing, bordering Shanghai-Hangzhou Railway on the east, Changshuitang on the west, South Sanhuan Road on the south, and Zuili Road on the north, with a total land area of 553mu. It is organized and constructed by Jiaxing Economic & Technological Development Zone Garden Municipal Construction Co., Ltd. And currently, it is under the process of organic regeneration, and its opening is estimated in early- and mid-April.

Jiaxing Rainbow Vegetable Garden actively explores the ecological development for the integrated Yangtze Delta demonstration area, the national strategy. It is an effective practice for the theory “Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets”. It is also a vivid case of high-quality development and construction of a model city pilot area for a common prosperity demonstration area.

嘉兴·蔬彩园项目开启了农业主题城市生态共享空间的先锋,为市民们提供了观赏、体验、休闲的空间,给市民们带来了美的感受,更提升了市民们爱科学的素养。

Jiaxing Rainbow Vegetable Garden is the pioneer of creating the city ecological sharing spaces themed with agriculture. It provides the citizens a place for sightseeing, experience and leisure activities, brings the citizens a sense of beauty, and increases the citizens’ awareness of science.

1、结合所有蔬菜品类进行单个蔬菜卡通形象创作,蔬菜品种不限,地域不限,形象性别不限,主题及表现形式不限,参赛者可自由发挥;

2、创作类别和手法不限;

3、作品须包含品牌形象三视图,包含:正面、侧面、背面,并设计三个或三个以上能表现该形象特色的动作或表情;

4、需为作品配上必要的文字说明,包括但不限于:形象名称、创作思路、设计说明及未来应用场景等;

5、参赛者须保留300dpi分辨率的可用于印刷生产的位图源文件或矢量文件。

1. To create a single cartoon vegetable character on the basis of combining all types of vegetables. There are no limits on types of vegetables, regions, gender, theme and style. The Entrant can create the character at its will.

2. There are no limits on types and methods in creation.

3. The Work should include the brand character’s three-view drawing, i.e. front, side and back view drawing; and design 3 or more than 3 actions or facial expressions that reveal the unique feature of the character.

4. To add a descriptive text necessary to the Work, including but not limited to: name of the character, thinking of creation, design narrative and scenes of future application, etc.

5. The Entrant should keep the original design file or vector file, 300dpi, suitable for printing and production.

1、品牌性:符合品牌理念、强化品牌IP认知

2、创意性:品牌形象富有创造力和想象力,辨识度高、差异性强

3、美观性:造型生动鲜明,形象积极健康,具有欣赏性,符合大众审美标准

4、传播性:形象易于传播,能达成普遍共鸣

5、应用性:具有较强可塑性、延展性、落地性

 

本次获奖作品将由专业评审和大众投票共同选出,其中专家评审得分占总分的80%,大众投票得分占总分的20%。

1. Principle of brand expression: It should comply with the brand idea and strengthen the cognitive expression of IP brand.

2. Principle of creativity: The character should be creative and imaginative, with obvious but different image.

3. Principle of aesthetics: The character should have a vivid style, active and healthy, and is suitable for appreciation. The standards of aesthetics comply with that of the public.

4. Principle of publicity: The character should be easy for publicity and resonate with the public.

5. Principle of application: It should have a strong flexibility for shaping and developing as well as an ability of landing.

All winners of the Competition will be jointly selected by the Judging Panel of review experts as well as the public through voting. The scores given by the Judging Panel of review experts account for 80% of the total scores, while the public voting scores account for 20% ofthe total scores.

(请严格按照以下规范提交作品,对于不符合规范的作品,将被取消入围资格。)

1、参赛方案需完整呈现于不超过2张纵向A2图纸上,要求图纸清晰,标注可读(页面边距10毫米),包含:

- 简短文字说明:不超过300字(标注除外);

- 参赛编号(以YB开头):位于图纸右上角。编号要求字体Arial、字号:20;

- 图纸需包含但不限于:品牌形象三视图(正面、侧面、背面)、效果图、其他细部详图

2、提交格式统一为JPG,每张图纸大小不超过10MB;

3、参赛方案需自行命名;作品图纸作品图纸请按照“参赛编号-方案名称-01/02/03”格式命名;

4、作品提交语言:中文或中英双语;

5、所有图纸和文字说明中,请勿透露个人信息,包括姓名、学校等内容;

6、作品需上传封面,封面为作品的主视觉,大小为1045×654,72dpi,2MB以内。

(请严格按照以上规范提交作品,对于不符合规范的作品,将被取消入围资格。)

7、因大赛中后期作品上传量较大,请参赛者合理安排参赛时间,及时交稿,避免重复上传或上传失败。

1. A scheme shall be presented in no more than two A2 sheets in a clear, vertical way and in readable format (with a 10mm page margin) and include following parts:

-Descriptive text on concept within 300 words (excluding the caption words);

-Registration No. (Starting with YB) shall be put in the upper right corner of the sheets, in Arial 20pt font;

-The drawings shall include but not limit to: the brand character’s three-view drawing (front, side and back view drawing), renderings, and other detailed drawings, etc.

2. Sheets in JPG format (no larger than 10MB for each) can be submitted;

3. The scheme title shall be named on your own; the scheme shall be saved in the "registration No. – scheme title – sheet No.1/No.2" format;

4. A scheme shall be submitted in Chinese or bilingual (English and Chinese);

5. All drawings and descriptive text shall not disclose the Entrant’s identity information (such as name, school, etc.).

6. The cover must be submitted online which is the key visual of your design work; it must be uploaded in the size of 1045×654 pixels, 72 dpi, less than 2MB. (Please submit your work according to the requirements stated above. Any violation herein means disqualification of the Entrant for shortlist.)

7. Due to a large amount of works uploading in mid and late stage of the Competition, please arrange your time for participating in the Competition and submit your work on time. Please avoid uploading the same work for the second time or the failure of uploading.

1. The Competition is open to all professionals, students and amateurs of related background including but not limited to design, art and animation. There are no limits on nationality and age.

Young Bird Plan

Founded in 2013 by Isa Ye, Young Bird Plan,is an international competition platform for global design talents. With three key elements, viz. fabrication, mentor’s guidance and interdisciplinary jury, it is fast becoming a leading voice in global design fields like urban design, architecture design, landscape design, interior design, product design, logo design and fashion design. In past five years, it attracted participants from 1045 top design institutions and 4257 top design agencies domestically and worldwide, covering 310 cities of 75 countries.

 

On the one hand, the platform constantly connects and meets various demands from political, business, and academic circles and actively fill supply and demand gaps among designers, manufacturers, developers, urban operators and users. We are committed to design and innovation, and offering opportunities for creative minds around the world to participate in creation process, so as to propel the implementation of design projects and products focusing on urban spaces and life aesthetics. 【权益说明】

1、本次大赛获奖作品的完整版权将转让至嘉兴经济技术开发区园林市政建设有限公司,获奖者领取证书(奖金)前应与嘉兴经济技术开发区园林市政建设有限公司签署《知识产权转让协议》,同意将获奖作品相关知识产权转归嘉兴经济技术开发区园林市政建设有限公司所有,作者保留对其作品的永久署名权,嘉兴经济技术开发区园林市政建设有限公司享有对作品进行知识产权保护申请、再设计、生产、展览、出版等各项权益。

2、若嘉兴经济技术开发区园林市政建设有限公司需对获奖作品进一步完善或开发、设计周边产品,获奖者需协助配合嘉兴经济技术开发区园林市政建设有限公司需求完善作品。

3、未获奖作品的版权,归原作者所有,除用于公益、宣传、教学等外,未经作者同意不得使用,但嘉兴经济技术开发区园林市政建设有限公司具有优先购买权,按入围奖奖金金额支付。

4、大赛主办方拥有对全部参赛作品进行展示、报道、宣传活动的权利,所有参赛作品都将收录在大赛活动纪念册之中。

5、作品一经提交,将视为参赛者同意并遵守比赛相关规定,若作品在商业使用中其著作权存在争议,主办方不承担因作品侵犯他人(或单位)的权利而产生的法律责任,由提供作品的参赛者承担全部法律责任。

6、如果获奖作者放弃履行相关版权转让或授权义务,则视为主动放弃相应奖项。

7、参赛作品不得违反中华人民共和国法律法规,不得违背公共秩序及善良风俗,否则将取消该参赛者的参赛资格,若因此给主办方及其他第三方造成损失的,由参赛者本人承担责任。

[Statement of Benefits]

1. The complete copyright of the winning works of the Competition will be transferred to Jiaxing Economic & Technological Development Zone Garden Municipal Construction Co., Ltd. Before obtaining the certificate (prize), the winners should sign Intellectual Property Transfer Agreement with Jiaxing Economic & Technological Development Zone Garden Municipal Construction Co., Ltd. and agree to transfer the relative intellectual property of the winning works to Jiaxing Economic & Technological Development Zone Garden Municipal Construction Co., Ltd. The winners, i.e. the authors, permanently reserve the right of attribution to their works. Jiaxing Economic & Technological Development Zone Garden Municipal Construction Co., Ltd. enjoys a variety of benefits regarding the winning works, such as applying for protection of intellectual property, redesign, production, exhibition and publication.

2. In the event that Jiaxing Economic & Technological Development Zone Garden Municipal Construction Co., Ltd. needs to further improve or develop the winning works as well as to design the sideline range of products, the winners should cooperate with Jiaxing Economic & Technological Development Zone Garden Municipal Construction Co., Ltd. and assist in the enhancement of the winning works according to its demands.

3. The copyright of non-awarding works shall belong to the original author and shall not be used without the consent of the author except for public welfare, promotion and teaching. However, Jiaxing Economic & Technological Development Zone Garden Municipal Construction Co.,Ltd. has the priority to purchase the works and shall pay according to the amount of the shortlisted prize money.

4. The Organizer has the right to display, report and use all of the entries for other publicity activities, and all the entries submitted in this Competition will be included in the commemorative album of the competition.

5. Once the work is submitted, it shall be deemed that the Entrant agrees and abides by the relevant rules of the Competition. All legal liability for any disputes caused by violation of the rights ofothers (or units) during its commercial use shall be borne by the Entrant and have no connection with the Organizer.

6. If the award-winning Entrant who fails or refuses to perform the obligation to transfer or authorize the Organizer to use the works, he/she will be deemed to voluntarily waive the corresponding prize.

7. The entries shall not violate the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China, and public order and good customs as well. Otherwise, the Entrant shall be disqualified from the Competition and compensate any losses caused to the Organizer and other third parties.

1、参赛者在提交作品前请确保已经阅读并且愿意遵守相关比赛规则,任何违反比赛规则的作品,主办方有权取消其参赛资格。

2、提交的作品中请勿出现以下内容:

(1)政治敏感及带有煽动性的画面,国旗、国徽、旗帜、标识等元素。

血腥、暴力、低俗、裸露、不雅等倾向的画面及元素。

(2)侮辱、诽谤或带有歧视性(包括但不限于种族、宗教、民族、性别歧视)的影射倾向画面及元素。

(3)其他任何会引起公众观感不适的画面及元素。

3、参赛者提交的参赛作品均须未被商用或授权他人使用,必须为参赛者为本次大赛原创,不得抄袭、盗用他人作品,且版权未移交他人(如作品中含有素材元素‹非原创部分> ,作者需拥有该素材版权的使用授权许可),不侵犯第三方的包括版权、商标权、肖像权、名誉权、隐私权等在内的任何权利;若在比赛或商业应用过程中发生版权纠纷,其法律责任由参赛者本人承担;

4、主办方有权按该参赛作品违反上述条件的严重性采取部分或全部如下措施:

(1)不予采纳该参赛作品;

(2) 取消参赛资格;

(3) 取消该参赛作品获奖资格;

参与者应当向主办方赔偿作品已投产但无法销售而给主办方带来的损失及其他相关损失;

5、参赛期间,参赛者不得将参赛作品转让或授权给任何第三方,不对外公开发表,不得用参赛作品参与与本赛事相同或类似的其他活动。

6、如多人合作,需征得所有合作者同意并标明所有合作者姓名;同一用户名可上传多组不同参赛作品,评选结果以作品为单位,即同一用户名可获得多个奖项。

7、为保证本次赛事活动的公平公正,参赛作品不得添加任何与本次大赛无关的第三方LOGO。

8、请参赛者按照报送方式报名参赛,并上传参赛作品。

9、因赛事中后期作品上传量较大,请参赛者合理安排参赛时间,及时交稿,避免重复上传或上传失败。

[Participation Guide]

1. Before submitting the Work, the Entrant must confirm that you have carefully read and agree to comply with relevant rules of the Competition. Any entries that violate the rules of the Competition are not accepted in this Competition. The Organizer has the right to disqualify the Entrant.

2. The following contents shall not appear in the submitted works:

(1) Politically sensitive and provocative pictures, such as national flag, national emblem, flag, logos; and other images or elements with a tendency of bloodiness, violence, vulgarity, nakedness, indelicacy and etc.

(2) Images and elements with a tendency of insult, slander, or discriminatory (including but not limited to racial, religious, ethnic, gender discrimination).

(3) Any other images or elements that may cause discomfort to the public.

3. Entries submitted by the Entrant must not be authorized to any organization or individual for commercial use, and must be the original work by the Entrant without plagiarizing, misappropriating others' works or transferring the copyright to others (If the Work contains non-original elements, the Entrant shall have the license to use the copyright of that elements). The Entrant should also ensure that their entries submitted will not infringe any rights of a third party, including intellectual property rights, trademarks, right of portrait, right of reputation, and privacy right. All legal liability for any disputes over copyright in the Competition or activities for commercial purpose shall be borne by the Entrant.

4. The Organizer reserves the right to take some or all of the following measures in accordance with the seriousness of the entry's violation of the above rules:

(1) to reject the work;

(2) to disqualify the right for participation;

(3) to disqualify the right for awards

The Entrant shall compensate the Organizer for the loss caused by the Work being put into production but unable to be sold and other relevant losses.

5. During the Competition period, the Entrant shall not transfer or authorize their entries to any third party, to publicly publish, or to use their entries to participate in other events that are the same or similar to this Competition.

6. If more than one person cooperates, it is necessary to obtain the consent of all partners and indicate the names of all partners; multiple entries of different groups can be uploaded with the same user name. The selection results are based on the works, that is, the same user name can win multiple awards.

7. In order to ensure the fairness and justice of the Competition, the entries shall not add any third-party’s LOGO that is irrelevant to the Competition.

8. Please register and upload the entries according to the registration and submission instructions.

9. Due to a large amount of works uploading in mid and late stage of the Competition, please arrange your time for participating in the Competition and submit your work on time. Please avoid uploading the same work for the second time or the failure of uploading.
